I'm 16 years old and I'm looking to buy a older Mustang GT, the Foxbody generation. It won't be insanely modified, bone stock hopefully. But I was wondering if it would be ridiculously expensive on insurance. A few friends have Mustangs but they're newer and they aren't paying insanely high prices.

It will be expensive based on the HP to weight ratio, but because your not going to include collision, it might be alright. Contact a few companies to get some quotes. Be ready, some might not insure you based on your age. Good luck on your search, it's getting harder to find a clean unmolested Foxbody. I love my '87 LX 5.0.
