I have a 1997 Chevy lumina

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay I have this car it starts but only will
stay on for 5 sec. Sometimes it want just
start. It has fuel pressure. Fuel pump
kicking on but a new fuel filter.. pretty much
the engine is in good shape. Have new
alternator,starter spark plugs wires ,
radiator. I don't know what wrong with it. I
took it too orilley and ran a code on it . The
only thing coming back is evap system. At
first it didn't want to start before so that is
when I put a new fuel filter after that it ran
good for a week. And now it want to start..
any ideas please help..

Need to check the fuel pressure, possible fuel pressure regulator or worse case fuel pump starting to fail

Do u know where the fuel pressure regulator is located at.. thanks. Well u can hear the fuel pump kicking on...

Fuel pressure regulator is on driver side behind intake manifold
