Can u use a 700 transmission out of a 96 chevy caprice in a 86 chevy caprice

They will physically fit, but the 96 trans is controlled electronically, and the 86 i believe is controlled with a tv cable

True,the computer controls the shifting in the 96,and back to the old school cable on the 86,CamaroCellector has got it,
