The correct gauge reading should be right in the middle


Old school is 6 lbs for every 100 rpm. Then depending on the type of oil pump and where they have the bypass set you can see pressures anywhere from 25 to 38 fully warmed up at idle, and from 38 to 60 flying down the freeway. HTH
