Question type: General

I'm looking at a few ford f350's with a V10 engine, I see some are 30valve and some are 20 valve?  Is one better than the other for power or mpg ?

1 Answer

The 30 Valve has two (2) intake valves per cylinder. 1 exhaust valve. The 30 Valve produces 362 HP and a ton of low-end torque: 457 Ft-lbs @only 3250 rpm. The 20 valve produces 305HP and 420 ft-lbs torque. Couldn't find mpg
