I have a 1997 Chevy Malibu with 116,000 miles. If I drive it in the neighborhood and back and forth to work about 14 miles round trip, it works fine. But if I go about 20-25 miles, it will just lose power and stop. i turn it off and let it sit for a few moments and then it will start back up and drive again. I had my airbags replaced and the entire dash board of my car replaced. When I put my car in the shop there was nothing wrong with my car before I put it in the shop. Now in less then a week after getting my car out of the shop my VSC light and check engine light came on and will not go off. Does the repairs have anything to do with these lights coming on? Hi, My 2005 Honda Accord has died twice in the last week for no reason. Last Monday while going to leave work it wouldn't start and I didn't leave anything on, I had a colleague jump it (battery is only 4 months old by the way) and was able to drive normally until yesterday when I got in my car and again it wouldn't start. This time I got out and while looking for a friend to jump my car I got in and for some reason it just started normally and all the electronics turned back on.
