fuel is 57psi at rail. getting spark. hard to believe the duel timing chain broke. did get a
slight attempt at firing once. no codes listed, unhooked battery, unhooked mapp, it has a
new crank sensor( its possible, i know) distributor looked perfect last time i had it out

i would check compression with a timing chain breaking it is bad news for lifters, valves, push rods, roller rockers, and pistons, And double check your timing on both distributor and crank and cam

let me rephrase that. i find it hard to believe the timing chain is the issue. i was going down the road and it just died...im thinking its a bad sensor, but not sure which one i should check.

check engine light is not on. i cant really scan it without it running. it threw nothing and stored it before it died, that i could see.

try this spray a little starting fluid down in it and see if it will fire off of that

im not around it now. im just trying to do some research. exhaust smells like fuel, so im unsure if that would do anything. im still leaning torwards a sensor that has somthing to do with timing. usually in my exp, wich isnt a lot, fuel, fire, air, and it should at least hit, unless a sensor is prohibiting it. the chain could be a possibility, but im really doubting it. ive never seen a chain on a 4.3 go quietly. rare occurance when they do. it doesnt even have 100k

what about fuel pressure regulator is it real rich and potent and are the spark plugs covered with fuel
