1998 Sierra GMCcranks but won't start

Not sure if this truck has a distributor or not. If so check the rotor. I've had vehicles I would change the fuel pump and other $$$$ stuff and come to find it is a cheap rotor...

First you need to check for fire at a plug,then check for fuel at fuel rail,without knowing this,it is in possible to diagnose your issue.
