Oxigen Sensor

1988 chevy camaro 2.8
I replaced the oxigen sensor  just to improve chances of passing smog check. But now I have the check engine light on, and the code is code 13 wich is oxigen sensor related. I  do not undertand why? before there was not check engine light. I don't unsderstend what may ve happed . Need your  your help

If this is an aftermarket O2 sensor it could trigger a fault code.


Yes, it is, a bosh brand, but I think that the old one is too so I am confused. sinse i did not have the code before
