How to open my hood when the release cable is broken

try prying it without hurting anything use a towel or somethin to protect you paint

look up from under the car and see if you can see the latch and cable. I had a chevy do this once. I had to make a stiff hook and reach up in and hook the cable right where it hooks into the latch. pull down, it should pop.
