Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This morning, an indicator light came on right beside my ouside temperage guage.  It is a triangle that is open at the top and has a X on the base.  It flashed a few times and then stayed on.  Any ideas?

A real triangle or more like a horse-shoe?

http://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/om/OM14U2QRG/pdf/2014_Highlander_QRG.pdf ..Page 5 see that page and tell me which one. The only real triangle has ! in it and is a "Master Warning" a serious problem

It is a true triangle. It is white, so it is probably not warning light - probably a indicator. I have attached a picture that I "drew" to show you what it looks like.

It's not on navigation screen? That look a bit like Toyota's Lane Assist, but shows on navigation screen not instrument cluster. I'll tell ya what, I am very very curious myself and intend to keep looking ..Toyota calls it 'Lane departure Alert"

I have one idea. Register (I will put it in one line to make it easy to hyperlink) there and register, go to "Ask an Owner", have your VIN ready, and there are owners of Highlanders that will be able to help you. I us e the Corolla forum often, it's a slow-loading but good site;
