Ok, I replaced the fuel filter and my '87 F-150 still wants to stall at about 2200 rpms... do I replace that external high pressure pump next?

Is the high pressure pump the kinda long skinny thing just
before the fuel filter? And by the way, I could swear the old
filter was in backwards, the flow arrow was pointing AWAY
from the engine, the arrow goes TWORD the motor, right?

well their looks like your flux capacitor isn't working. check your turning signal fluid.

I have a 1989 F/150 302, I am not getting power to the High Pressure fuel pump, I am not sure about the low pressure pumps power, I just replaced the saddle in-tank pump to no avail, I did remove the high pressure pump amd confirmed that it was working with 12 volt battery, I am not sure where to go from here, the truck has set for years and was given to me, I really want to get it runnung, does anyone have the quick fix? 1999 Honda CR-V will not start. I changed the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator along with the fuel filter and the main relay but the vehicle still will not start. The distributor along with the coil was replaced about two months ago, spark is ok. Sometimes the vehicle start for a few second but the engine stalls as if the timming is off but the timing is ok, also sometimes it back fires and when it does the vacuum hose that is connected to the fuel pressure regulator comes off from the regulator. I check the injectors and they are getting power. I disconnected the exhaust thinking of the catalytic but still no start. Could it be the computer? Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thanks 8 Answers
