What exactly is CarGurus' purpose? Just provide a place for people to list and find cars? For example, are there any warranties involved?

Yes, it's a listing site for dealers and private party parties to sell cars, and this Q&A forum. But any warranty is between you and them, what they include or you buy. And aftermarket "warranty" is more of an insurance policy than a warranty. And CarGurus is completely uninvolved in that. Click "used Cars" on top of this page and fill out the prompts for what you are seeking.
