Why are dealers allowed to bait buyers with cars that don't exist ... ?

Each time I call or email dealers, I'm told that 'the car has been sold'.  Yet, many of those cars are still listed on this site... .

It's not bait and switch, they either don't have time to take the ad down, and or want you to come in to the dealership and they will sell you another car. Real Estate has been doing it for years.
