What does "Kock Sensor 1 Circuit Malfunction" mean? How difficult is this to fix?

A Knock sensor is sort of like a microphone, picks up when the cylinder(s) ignite and feeds to ECU to help to determine timing. It could be an easy fix, if say the connector is not making contact, or may be more involved
