Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my 1992 Toyota 4runner m/t loses power when driven form about 30 minutes.  I cannot accelerate over 10 mph but the engine still idle in neutral.  It feels like not enough gas or the timing is retarded.   After it cools down the engine is running normal again. I replace the spark plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter, ignitor and  the coil.  Could it be the maf sensor?

Is there any possibility that the catalyst converter could be clogged?

That's a distinct possibly. I wonder if you can get a by pass pipe and see if by removing the cat your problem is solved.
