Recommendations for a good, dependable car for 23 year old son? Honda? Kia? Is high mileage ok? How high is too high?

No on the Kia's, Honda, Toyota, if they have been serviced properly are usually good, but I would try to find some domestic vehicle, mid to full size something with a little metal in it, also parts will be cheaper and readily avaliabe.

I like to buy a used car with around 80-100K miles. To keep the purchase price down and get another 10 years out of it.
