My chevy suburban's rear door locks will not open from the drivers door control. Why?

Check the switch. that particular button could be shot. it's an easy fix, just replace the switch block 1/2 hr maybe

The switch unlock the front doors but not the rear. Could it still be the switch? Thanks for your respond.

if there isn't a switch for just the back door then it could be multiple things. short in the wiring.....how ever this would affect all the locks, it could also be a bad servo in the lock mech in the back door. Also check the door lock relay. Go to the auto parts store and have them test the relay 9 you should be able to walk into any autozone with it in hand) I would check the relay first.
