clutch or compressor rattle 2000 lincoln town car

I HAVE A 2000 LINCOLN TOWN CAR AND THE AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSOR AND OR
THE CLUTCH HAS STARTED TO RATTLE WHEN THE CLUTCH IN ENGAGED. WHAT'S
CAUSING THIS?

The clutch needs to be replaced. It's on its way out. Should it freeze up you can burn up the belt and get stuck on the side of the road.
