My 96 Chrysler town & country's signal lights quit working. I've taken it to 3 repair shops and they've checked and changed everything possible and they still aren't working. What can it be?

They made a funny sound when they quit
working. And now nothing at all.

there is a problem in the steering wheel assembly. the switch itself is bad and needs to be replaced.
