if you mean starving, check the fuel pressure, minimum of 4 lbs and flow from the fuel pump, replace the little fuel filter at the fuel inlet on the carb, check and make there isn't another filter installed somewhere in the fuel supply line, make sure the vent is working in the fuel tank, if all of the above check out then maybe the float level is set too low inside the carb. Sometimes it idles good but when you put it in gear it wants to stall whenever you take off from a stop it acts like its starving for gas but its not but if you pump the gas it seems to pick up better still Not right

Your carb has an accelerator pump in it. It could be going bad. Try looking at that.

That sounds like your carb needs an overhaul , make sure the kit has all of the upgrade for this junk they call fuel and it would be a good idea to change out all of your rubber fuel lines to the new ethanol resistant type.

Same issue here. Have replaced everything from inside tank all the way up to the car . Even put electric fuel pump. No help there either.
