SITTING IN PARK REV THE ENGINE WHEN I HIT APROX 3500 RPM ENGINE WANTS
TO MISSFIRE  IF DRIVING DOWN ROAD & NAIL IT NO MISSFIRE .HAVE FAIRLY NEW
PLUGS CLEAN GAS & SOLID EXHAUST SYSTEM.RUNS GREAT BUT NOT ALOT OF
POWER

It's the Rev limiter when you are in park. It's doing what it's designed to do. Mine will also not go over 3000 or so rpms in park. This is to keep you from blowing it up while sitting in park.

Try replacing your fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump. If your cat converter is plugged, that will also rob you of power.
