Are you sure parking brake is not set one notch.

Check for 12 volt to ground short. Also will need to visually inspect wire harness for shorts.

Also is it your rear brake lights or the brake light on the dash?

If it is your rear brake lights you have a short to power. Check at your brake light switch and see if the wires are melted or touching.

Rear brake lights

This comes from the fuse box.So if you have the fuse out the hot wire is touching on the back of the fuse box to a hot wire or the one going to the tail lights is touching a hot wire in the harness from the pedal to the brake lights somewhere.

I would be looking for melted wires somewhere.

Thanks mate ... still looking for melted wires ... cant find any ... yet
