i have a 99 dodge ram 1500 2wd 5.2 v8 automatic having shifting problems it shifts fine threw all gears until it warms up and it dosnt want to shift to 4th gear it goez in the high rpm and wont shift

How long since trans fluid and filter change? Also some model dodge trucks have siliniods in the trans for each gear. Sounds like you have one acting up.

i just changed fluid and filter about 2 weeks ago and it shifts fine until i drive it for a while and you gotta play hell tryna gett it in 4th gear butt all other gears shift fine

They not that bad. Just drop your pan and they are right there. But before you do that check the electrical connections on the outside of trans. Might just have a loose connection causing it not to operate properly. Also do some research on which one will be for the gear that's not shifting. That way when you get into it you have everything that you need to repair it. Parts and knowledge.
