my ford f150 4x4 is sluggish and making a sound like driving over rumble strips when i start moving from a stop or if it has geared down. It also sounds like something is rubbing or something is hung up under the back end of truck. A grinding rough sound. But once i get moving from the low gear speed it stops ???

put 'er up on a lift and note the amount of free travel in the constant velocity joints...perhaps one or more are worn....boots torn....the poisonous grease leakin' out all over the place?~

inspect the drivetrain....you'll know which component needs replacing....an inspection is in order~....I'd pay a guy for a drivetrain inspection on this....this one is worth it~

thanks, i guess a trip to the dealership is in order
