how do I turn off chime and seat belt light, when my seat belt is fastened it wont stop I tried the lock three times it didn't work I have a 2006 dodge Dakota slt v6

I tried  turning key locking unlocking 3 times , but it didn't work

Check the buckle. If it's dirty or something got shoved in it the belt won't complete the circuit telling the computer that you're buckled up. A shop vac or compressed air in the buckle just might do the trick. HTH -Jim
