While driving on the highway the heater quit blowing in my 2004 jeep grand Cherokee overland. Could the weather be a factor? The temperature was 20 degrees & it was snowing.

yes, well coolant should be changed every other year, because it breaks down into sludge and boulders...and clobbers up the coolant loop...honest advise take it to a shop that can deal with the poisonous ethylene glycol in an environmentally responsible fashion...get a new thermostat and other hoses that are cracked and/or bloated and ready to be changed~....to re- iterate COOLANT FLUSH....NEW thermostat....in time for your samba lesson~
