i have a 1997 dodge ram with a 5.9. blew top rad hose truck over heated.when i hit the gas it moves. has trouble shifting gear wont shift unless i let up on the gas. then has a very slow pickup. but it starts good
....whadja do there? Barlow off 1/2 and put 'er back?
tell me you did not refill with gas station tap water, but elected to spend 10 bucks on the right stuff~
i bought anti freeze
new hose. it just keeps caving the hose
that there sounds like flow problems through the radiator...perhaps get a new radiator now~...as far as running poorly, but starting good am going to point to the IAT or intake air temperature sensor as this will tell the computer that it's cold out or hot out at the intake...combined with Data from the block temperature sensor will tell the injectors how to enrichen the mix~
your overflow reservoir doin' funny things?
find hot spots on the radiator with a thermo-spot gun...they're less than twenty dollars~
