I have 87 Ford F 150 4.9 4 by 4 for speed had trouble getting started when did it start is running rich bypassed temperature sensors was running fine turn it off and start again now idles at 2000 rpm

How did you bypass the sensor? Did you use a fixed resistance or a variable unit, either way the resistance is wrong causing the ECM to boost idle to max, this will cause your ISC to jamb or burn out, you really need to test the engine control system.
