Location of Charcoal Filter on 2000 Maillbu.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Check Engine Light came on. Had code run and indicated p0440 Code. 2000 Malibu V6
3.1L eng. As a possible cause Charcoal Cannister loaded with Fuel or moisture. Don't
have a clue where it is located. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Might be as simple as a loose gas cap.....http://www.obd-codes.com/p0440

Or leaking gas cap. Have it pressure tested or replace it if not just loose. HTH. -Jim
