tax for a car owner in California

If I buy Ford Explorer, 2007 make, 100.000 mileage, in Californa what taxes I should
expect ?
Does the taxation depend on how I use that car : for family only or time to time as UBER
car?

Depending on the County: LA County 8% Sales Tax other Counties 7 to 7.75%, registration on an Explorer at LEAST $200..(guess) and has nothing to do with the things you listed, and before you buy and attempt to register in California make SURE it has the Calif emissions package
