Question type: Maintenance & Repair

replacing the ECM on a 1997 nissan sentra with a used one, does it need to be flashed by
the dealership?

I would recommend it so that you don't get any "bad habits" from the last auto the ECM was used in and they could check for any electrical issue before you install it in your car.
