towing capacity for 2013 dodge ram 1500

Without looking anything up. a good 1/2 ton truck can tow something like 8,000lbs...4 tons..(yes, that much) gross with a tongue weight of 175lbs max. A pintle hitch, a ring, not a ball, is better. My F250 I have towed as much as 7 tons, but only a short distance and would never make a habit of it..but that's a 3/4 ton. Now if you want to go 5th wheel, you can increase that. get an auxiliary transmission cooler if you tow that much a lot with an automatic. Do not tow heavy trailers without brakes!
