volvo s40 20ltr auto trans, and it leaking fluid from the auto trans cooling system.

my s40 is leaking auto fluid from around the rad ,. but i can see if its coming from it but it running down a small plastic pipe the left of the rad,. is this a common fault and can anyone tell if it a big job

Sounds like the transmission cooling line. Hopefully that is all it is, in which case it is a fairly simple straightforward fix. If it is internal to the rad, it can get pricey. Best to have it diagnosed properly.
