Where are the grounds for a 77 f 150?
I was researching
ignition problems and
they sd I should chk my
grounds and change for
new cables? Huh I'm a
chick .. Where and what
they look like ?
If they have not been changed, I would replace the 3 heavy gauge (factory is 4 gauge) wires that c9nnect the batter to the vehicle. I always use 1 gauge cables, as the up charge is about $10 total. You have 3 of these cables: The positive battery cable from the battery to the solenoid; the negative from the battery to the engine (normally the block or air pump on these Fords); and the solenoid to starter motor line. There is also a braided line connecting the block to the firewall, located on the passenger side of the rear of the engine.
