Hi I have a 2000 impala my son just bought. Drove it for 3days then it stalled wouldn't restart..cranked but the second it started it died..replaced ignition switch with passlock and the ignition switch..tried over and over again according to the instructions the 10 and 30 minute relearn. And still nothing.i put a good known used ignition module in out of one of my other cars to test it .nothing then thought I needed to relearn key with replaced module thinking on initial relearn it goes through the module so I put in uesd module did the relearn again. started right up..2 days later same thing driving it and it just stalled out with no warning towed it home n was told gm had problems with bad module harnesses from flexing and making bad connections..so I got a replacrment from GM soldered it in n heat shrunk all the new connections
