on my 86 mustang 4 cylinder to 302 project, I've got a 9 inch rear end out for 78 f100, I know I'd have to change out the axles, but would it fit? on the front end, change mounts n k member, what about the steering linkage? also thanks for the link to the forum

the housing is going to be too wide. measure axle flange to axle flange to confirm this. better off to trade it for a mustang unit, K member wont be a problem with the right oilpan
