You can look up the value on KBB.com and Edmunds.com. Maintenance is going to be about the same. Buy the blue one.

Both are 100% solid choices and very good cars. Both recommended by Consumer Reports as well. I'd probably go with the Civic as some of them, especially the 2 door coupe ones, are more jazzy looking than the Corolla, IMO. But test drive BOTH and make up your own mind :)

Did this answer your question (or at least help a little bit) @ lonestarchick15? Is there more info you need about these 2 cars...Also, since you're in hot & humid TX, I say go with the White one or at least a light color (Dark Colors, like Black, absorb heat like a sponge). If you can get one with automatic temperature AC (just set it and forget it)...even better :)
