honda civic vs toyota corolla, which is the best of the two??

looking to purchase a used car and cannot decide which of these two types of vehicles would be the best value in terms of maintenance and value.

You can look up the value on KBB.com and Edmunds.com. Maintenance is going to be about the same. Buy the blue one.

Both are 100% solid choices and very good cars. Both recommended by Consumer Reports as well. I'd probably go with the Civic as some of them, especially the 2 door coupe ones, are more jazzy looking than the Corolla, IMO. But test drive BOTH and make up your own mind :)

Did this answer your question (or at least help a little bit) @ lonestarchick15? Is there more info you need about these 2 cars...Also, since you're in hot & humid TX, I say go with the White one or at least a light color (Dark Colors, like Black, absorb heat like a sponge). If you can get one with automatic temperature AC (just set it and forget it)...even better :)
