Looking at 2008 rav4 sport, 103,000 miles . Is this too much milage to invest in the car

If it's been maintained as it should have, it has life left in it. It is high mileage for a five year old vehicle. Check the value on KBB.com and Edmunds.com

Indication of mostly highway miles, the least wear. According to "Bob is the Oil Guy," which by the way I am grateful to tenspeed for teaching me about this guy, 90% of engine wear occurs upon start up. It has a great deal more life left indeed, another 100,000 at least probably more, much more
