My son"s car-1998 contour,ran fine,to work.He tried to start it,for the drive home-No Luck..It has spark,fuel,and tries to start,when you hold pedal at full throttle..I replaced the T.P.S.,and same thing.. Any suggestions?? I cannot talk him into scrapping it..

Hello I took my wife to eat car was running fine came out of the eatery and started the car I did not think it started so I turned the key to start again the car quit now there is no dash lights when I try to start and it acts like there is no battery in it but the battery is good.
