i have a 1983 trans/am when i got it the guy took it off to save gas i got the car do i haft to
take the fan off to get it on it

yes it runs off of the fan

Best wait for tenspeed, he has a Grand Am, or somebody that knows, I am staying away from this now. Very confused. sorry.


This one is a Trans Am with the rear wheel drive and 'normal' engine configuration. You might have a small auxiliary belt for the A/C. A water pump and heater hoses deliver the heat to the heater core like all other water cooled vehicles. -- I would guess that that belt is off of your Trans Am because the A/C is dead. If the guy wanted to save gas, he could have just not used the A/C.
