Where do you find the numbers to verify a 351CJ engine? Also I have a 429 1971 complete motor #D1VE-A2B for sale, where can I find the value for it?

Look behind the distributor for the casting number. It should be something like a D0AE plus 95xx if it had a carburetor. The first letter is the decade - B = 50's / C = 60's / D = 70's / E = 80's
