Does the super charged motor get different gas milage  then a regular 3800 series motor?

There is no loss in fuel economy with the supercharger, but a significant gain in performance. In hilly areas, the supercharger might actually help with gas mileage as the engine will not work as hard to maintain speed etc.

Are there any relibility issues with the super charger?

Nothing of any note. While the super charger is an added feature, it is fairly robust and simple in design so failures have been reported infrequently.
