what does internet price mean for a car

Self explanatory really, the value/price you can buy a certain car from here, CarGurus sales listings, EBay, craigslist, etc. On the internet beware, there are so many scammers..I listed a car on craigslist and got no less than 11, yeah, eleven. people that say "I want to buy the car. Right now, before you sell it to somebody else, just give me your bank account number and I will deposit the money and have it picked up" Yeah, right. Please be careful of those, they are 100% scams, not 99%....that is opposed to the value/price of the same car from a private party, or on a used car lot, or a dealer's used section
