I found a 2001 Tundra, V6, RWD, with 49,854 miles. How can I determine that this truck was not sitting around for years on end as I was once told that's the worst thing that can happen to a vehicle?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

They are offering to sell it to me for 11,500, taking my 03 Matrix with 140500 miles in trade, giving me
5400. for my car.  Is this a good deal?

It is hard to determine if it has been sitting . 50,000 miles is not bad but buying any used vehicle has risks. If it was 4-wheel drive maybe. But I would talk them down to 9500.
