are performance chips all scams, or do some work?

Not all of them are. You need to do your research on which one will work best for your application. Unless your are modifying your car, a chip will be very useful, but in stock form, it's not worth it. IMO.

Im lookinjg at the Tunesport Performance Module for my 03 F150 4x4 5.4L Im looking to increase my mpg. I also pull a 5000 lb trailer around town about 50 miles per day. Anyone try the tunesport?
