I have a 1979 plymouth volare 225 recently changed brain fuel pump distributer etc. Still getting no fire between. Brain and distributer could timing components be an issue what else can i look for

There is usually a small ceramic resistor on the firewall or fender that could be the problem. I find older Dodge vehicles have that same issue and the fix is around 15 bucks or so.
