hey im a hill billy from eastern oregon, i can turn a wrench. this might sound stupid ,but cant i put my finger on the end of the line and see if its supplying adequate pressure ?

Rent a pressure gauge kit from the auto parts store.

Oh and dont ever try that with brakes or other high pressure systems. Hydraulic systems may have enough pressure to go through your shin and into your blood. Very bad situation. good luck and be safe
