If u want huge engines, high torque and superb straight line acceleration, go for American, mind you, they are also very thirsty engines! European cars are more refined, more luxurious, have better technologies, more economical, can offer great acceleration and superb handling at the same time, something which most american cars can't do and they are easier to drive for everyday life.

Euro cars are my favorites, im not a fan of filling my tank once a day cause my V8 just sucked down the gas. also where is the fun in a 10 second straight line shot? its so much more fun to go and find a curvy back road and slice around the corners without fear of slipping like a mustang would do in a heartbeat.

depends. drag car - american. if im rich i want a ZR vette then for overall. for luxury - euro

oh and guys the new LS series engines from GM get up to 30 mpg while making over 400 hp. so they dont suck gas any worse than euro cars

This is true. Also, European cars have a tendancy not to fall apart like American cars do. My IROC-Z requires a lot more to maintain than my neighbor's old Audi Turbo. The only type of Euro cars that aren't good are the Yugo's and anything British (especially MG's). German cars are by far the best and most well known.
