yep this is wierd but ssc stands for shelby super cars but does not relate at all to shelby cars who does the higher end mustangs wierd isnt it

They are two separate companies, and,SSC has nothing in connection to Carrol Shellby, thus why they go by the moniker SSC instead of Shellby super cars
